Hi Linda,
I am just about to post my 2 weeks post op report on this site. Feel free to link here and copy any of my stuff that you think would be helpful. This is exactly why I felt compelled to share this story on the internet... I keep talking to people who are walking around undiagnosed like I was, feeling miserable but not knowing what was wrong or thinking it was MS or Lupus.... I am doing much better Thank God and the doctors.

My name is Linda Hageman, RN
I loved your story. I also have had parathyroids removed due to increased calcium levels. I found that the surgeries (4) were very easy to recover, however I was found to have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN) this is where a person can grow tumors on other endocrine glands. I have started a non profit for this condition www.multipleendocrineneoplasia.org. I was wondering if you would consider putting your story re parathyroid surgery on our website. You have a wonderful way with words and I think this story could help some of my readers to realize a parathyroidectomy is not that bad.

Also any suggestions you may have re the web site would be greatly appreciated. Linda Hageman, RN 865-981-8815 Please feel free to call me.
