I found that the surgeries (4) were very easy to recover, however I was found to have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN) this is where a person can grow tumors on other endocrine glands. I have started a non profit for this condition www.multipleendocrineneoplasia.org. I was wondering if you would consider putting your story re parathyroid surgery on our website. You have a wonderful way with words and I think this story could help some of my readers to realize a parathyroidectomy is not that bad.
